How much you can borrow for a home loan depends on a range of factors.

Firstly how much income you earn including rent.

The number of people your income is supporting eg one adult, two adults and the number of children.

The repayments on other debts eg personal loans, credit cards, hecs debt.

How much your living expenses are.

All the lenders have slightly different formulas and policies so how much you can borrow, even with the same figures, will vary between lenders
